February 2016 - The Diary

A month of planes, trains and automobiles this one with various corporate gigs around the UK. First up was another wonderful COLOPLAST UK event in Belfast, followed by another in Cardiff which

were great fun and received really well. Then our mini UK Tour finished for now with another COLOPLAST event in beautiful Cambridge. More gigs lined up for April as well and I really enjoy working with this lovely cast and crew and staying in fabulous hotels into the bargain!

Had a couple of commercial castings and landed a couple of future roles in short films and another web series later in the year with actors and crews that I have worked with previously, so some interesting projects in the pipeline.

Also heard this month that three of the Feature Films I completed in 2015 are moving into the second stages of editing and should be out this year. Quite satisfying having a full slate of projects still to come out in 2016 and plenty of work to look forward to from April onwards.

February has also seen a big step-up in my training regime, with daily runs followed by heavy weights sessions and pleased with my increasing fitness and strength and determined to be fitter than ever before this year! Tough going though, but I know it will pay off in the long run.

And finally this month I was honoured to be asked to contribute my research of my grandfather's service in Lancaster bombers in WW2 to Matt Wood's Official History Of 576 Squadron which was based at RAF Elsham Wolds. This is the 4th book that I have contributed my research and acting work to and it is always a real joy to see your work in print.

I have also contributed to several documentaries on my ancestor Patrick Boylan of the Woolwich Arsenal Fc which can be viewed here The History Detectives and another here The Torpedo Factory In Greenock as well as a wonderful Canadian film on Robert J Sarvis and his American Football team The RCAF Hurricanes In WW2 Happy viewing!
