June 2022 - The Diary

Down to London again this month for a brilliant COLOPLAST UK live event in Islington with the usual gang and great catching up with Irvine Welsh and Rob & Nick from The Alabama 3 in Soho afterwards

Train back to Glasgow and a call from Producer Jason Allday (also pictured above) to ask me to take part in his latest documentary, CHOOSE IRVINE WELSH which is shooting now. Delighted to be asked and

we had a great time shooting this and thanks to everyone at Jack Pepper Media for making me feel so welcome. The crew are following Irvine everywhere over an 18 month period for this television show

which will be released at some point in 2023. Then into our first readthrough of our latest Edinburgh Fringe show script with our great cast, more of which will be revealed in July. Really looking forward
to this one! Back to more roleplay work with THE WHEATLEY GROUP and GLASGOW UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL, before heading back down south to Manchester and a fun COLOPLAST gig below

It was off to New Lanark next for my second day's shoot on Amazon Prime series A TRUE MISMATCH in which I play Officer Muir, a rare 'cop' role for me, as I am usually the villain! Again, lovely people to

work with and another fab shoot in a brilliant location. Hopefully we will be seeing more of my character in future episodes and huge thanks to Dan Reynolds and the team at Stray Productions for casting me.

Lots more auditions and travel thius month as well as more Roleplay work booked and great catching up with lots of old friends this month in Brixton, Islington, Manchester and on the various corporate gigs!

Back to Glasgow and more zoom roleplay work with THE WHEATLEY GROUP, followed by more medical roleplay work at Glasgow University this month. We began rehearsals for a new play at the

tail end of June, and here's a wee taste (above) with Scott Kyle and I. More to be revealed next month about this project. Finally it was back to a sunny Birmingham to work with COLOPLAST UK again on

another excellent roleplay, with these lovelies above, Henry Baukham and Rebecca Collingwood, before heading back to Scotland for a recall audition and press and rehearsals for our new show..!
